Crossroads Fellowship

The Tapestry Family Picnic was held Saturday, May 31 from 4:00 pm - dusk at Durant Nature Park in Raleigh. Once again, we escaped the late day thunderstorms, and we enjoyed an afternoon and evening of fellowship, games, and some great Barbecue from Old Time Barbecue in Cary. Thanks to all who attended, and to Susan and Betsy and their team, that did most of the behind the scenes work to make this event a success. And, most of all, thanks to all of our Tapestry Team Members, and your families, for your particpation and support of our Ministry Teams. We appreciate all of you!

On Saturday, November 3rd, Crossroads hosted AudioSeminar.com with their Audio Seminar and their Media IMPACT seminar. More than 150 Technicians from as far away as Florida and West Virginia attended. Audio participants spent the entire day in front of mix consoles, learning the basics of audio production, mixing, equilization, compression, and wireless technology. Media IMPACT participants learned about live video production, media production, presentation software, video formats and compression, and a host of other topics related to media production and presentation in the House of Worship Environment.

Thanks to all the Crossroads folks who both attended and helped host the Seminar, and thanks to Bruce and Yoli Lee, and Jay Delp who travel the country producing these seminars for the local church. We look forward to hosting these seminars again in the future.

Thanks to all who attended the second annual Tech Team Family Lake Day that was held at Jordan Lake on Saturday, July 28th. Check out the Photo Gallery...Everyone got their fill of playing in the water on a hot, sunny July day, no insect bites were reported, and everyone is already looking forward to next year's event.

The 2007 Tapestry Picnic, held June 9th at Anderson Point Park, has come and gone. Thanks to Betsy, Susan and David for bringing this event together.

Crossroad's December 2006 production of Susanne Arrington's "Casting Angels" has come and gone. Our Tapestry Drama, Music and Tech Teams had a great time producing and performing this musical/drama production on December 8th and 9th, 2006.
