Crossroads Fellowship

Join us for the third annual Tech Team "Family Lake Day" on Saturday, July 26th, 2008. We've planned this day to show our appreciation for you and your family's sacrifice of time and service for our Lord in the Crossroads Tapestry Technical Teams, and to provide you an opportunity for fellowship outside of our typical weekly activities.

This year, we've reserved a group campsite, which is available to us from Thursday night through Sunday afternoon, and we'll have access to an adjacent beach area. On Saturday the 26th, we'll provide a cookout lunch between 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm, and throughout the day we'll hang out by the water, and enjoy swimming, some jet-ski action, tubing, skiing, etc. For those who don't really care for the water, just come and relax in the sun or shade and enjoy the fellowship and watch everyone else wear themselves out in the water.

Some team members will be camping over the weekend at the campsite, and all are welcome to join us. Our group campsite is a tent-only area, is heavily shaded, with charcoal grills and a fire ring, and there are flush toilets and hot showers available at the site. If you plan to camp, just load up the car with your gear and head on out Thursday Evening, or any time during the day on Friday or Saturday. At the entrance, tell the Ranger you're with Crossroads on Group Site 256. Call Larry at 422-9723 if you have any questions about camping.

So find that bathing suit, grab your lawn chair, and come on out! If you have any water toys - boat, jet-ski, kayak, canoe, etc... bring them along... Hope to see you all there!

• Who: All current, prospective and inactive Tech Team members, along with their spouses, children and significant others
• What: More fun than you can possibly imagine! Mostly water, no devices!
• When: Saturday, July 26th, 2008 - 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
• Where: Parker's Creek Access, Group Campsite #256 - Jordan Lake State Recreation Area
• Food: Lunch served from 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm, provided by Crossroads - Snacks and beverages, available throughout the day, also provided.
• Bring: Lawn chair, beach towel, water shoes/sandles, sunscreen, toys, etc.
• Camping: Available at your option on Thursday, Friday, and/or Saturday night - Hot showers, flush toilets, grills and fire ring available - tent camping, only. Call Larry with questions - 422-9723.
• Cost: None (State Recreation Area Vehicle Entry Fee will be paid by Crossroads Fellowship)

Also, if you've served on any of the Tech Teams, but are not currently active, we still invite you to attend. It would be a great chance for you to reconnect with your fellow team members, and we'd love to see you and find out what you've been up to. Your contributions to the teams are appreciated!
